Multiplayer - This is a great addition to GTA, you can do races, freemode, free for all, teams, king of the hill (terriroty) and even a "cops and robbers" style scenario. You have to complete the story line, kill birds, do stunt jumps, deliver packages, hang out with friends, and much much more Controls - It took a while especially for me because I played the other GTA games on the PS2, it took about 45 minutes before a learned the controls well enough to play properly. I'll break down the game into sections Hours to beat 100% - over 80 hours if no cheats or guides are used. Graphics - This is overlooked by the game play, at least by me. Cars are easy to control once you get the hang of it, which took me the longest. Helicopters are the only thing I really can't control that well even after flying them for an hour straight, they will take a lot of time to get used to.Rockstar also added a cover system so you can put your back to a nearby wall, crate, or car for cover, this works really well and makes combat so much more fun. The graphics are pretty good, defiantly a huge step up from it's predecessors. Great game, give it a try.
Ok let me start off by saying this game was the worst game I've ever played in my life. If your going 30 MPH and theres a turn well prepare to crash unless you slam on the brakes and hand brake to reach 0 MPH then you start up and turn. Like i was driving my dirtbike about 10mph and hit a cop and went flying about 50ft now that is crap and so unrelistic maybe you'd do a frontflip and land on the hood but no 50ft thats just rediculous. Now I bought the first Saints Row and LOVED it. Me, my brother hated this game. i ended up being a Saints Row fan and id like to say SR is 10x better than GTA 4. The only fun thing about this game is the crash graphics. Its just that bad.
On GTA 4 they took out planes the only thing is like 2 helicopters. Anyways they took out all planes theres no parachutes the driving controls are crap. They also have the dumbest selection of clothes and they took out modding of cars.Overall i dont recommend this game to people that loved San Andreas its nothing like it. My other friend thought it was ok.
It is a very good game if you like action and movement. it should be in your collection.
